Laverock Financial Consulting is a specialist consultancy run by me,  Ian Macintyre. 

I specialise in the intersection between Pensions, Technology, Policy and Regulation in UK financial services. 

“Yeah but what does that actually mean?”

Really it means understanding big initiatives such as Pensions Dashboard, Open Finance or Small Pots.  And understanding in detail the practicalities of such initiatives and helping you understand them and the impact.

What often can happen is such initiatives are understood only through one lens, be it the policy drivers, the minutiae of the actual regulations, how to deliver the IT or the longer term impact on the pensions market.  I look at such initiatives through every lens I can and then help you do the same. 

I am also well versed in actually implementing these sort of programs and getting stuck into the mucky business of applying a perfectly good idea to the reality of legacy IT systems. 

I can do so because I have 25 years experience of working on technology in Pension from all sorts of angles.  In particular I’ve been in the room with regulators, tech firms, standards bodies and industry groups.  Plus had real life experience, and all the scars, of having to implement such ideas inside a big financial service business.
